Default 70 ram air 455 convert. worth

Yea ,I know you guys were expecting this... so what is that car ( the '70 ram 455 4 speed convert.) on ebay worth in today's (or next years) market totally restored,?? (by me of course!) not numbers matching. The one I just finished sold for around 75,000.. to a guy in Austria. It was an auto with a/c and more other options than this bare bone car. .. Just would love to hear some opinions... and thank you for your sincere opinionb

Can't say for your place Forrest but here I would say not under 60K, but it is a small market for it.
Easier if you are willing to work with the buyer regarding receipts and so on

On this car ??? nope.

It is yours as I see it

Did take a look at the auction, from the Email his first name is Roar and then I would guess it is the guy that have 1 of the 27 -71 GTO HO455 vert's that is canyon copper, same color as mine, he as been on this forum a couple of times.

Not sure if the 70 HO verts are getting 70K?

Personally, I would prefer a 71 HO vert 4 speed as it is a real roundport for that money.

I knew this question would pop up! Some where the figures showed up when I did that last convert. 455 ram air car, it was an auto and I think I saw around 17 for the autos and less than 5 for the sticks.... maybe I'm wrong or the info I got was wrong...in any event, it is a rare find..

Mr. Ransom is always helpful on these things. My HDTP is a 455 HO RA A/C 4-spd. Not many produced, but more than convertibles. It's the A/C that sets mine apart.

Total 455/manual GTO built in '70 was 1919.
Total 455 w/RA GTO built in '70 was 543 (302 manual/241 auto).
Total 455/manual GTO convertibles built were 158.

There were 91 455/manual w/RA GTOs built at the Pontiac plant in '70.
There were 94 455/manual convertibles built at the Pontiac plant in '70.
How many were both ???

I turned down double those amounts back in 2007 for my 455 ram air conv.. but still not as bad as some of the home price drops around the country.

Forrest,

I actually used uship on the last few west coast cars I got...I put in what I wanted to spend and waited for an offer I liked. last few times I had the car in a week...guess the economy ads to the competition.
