Arrow Fresh Find '69 GTO with 33 factory options!!

My friend Paul and I were vending at the All-GM Car Show here in Minneapolis earlier this month when a man approached Paul about buying a '69 GTO that a friend of his had for sale. The GTO had languished in a trailer park for the past year after he lost storage. The car was bought in California 26 years ago, brought to Minnesota and never really driven much again. It had been off the road since he hit a fire hydrant while under the influence back in the 80's. The car runs and drives and the asking price was very attractive for a virtually rust free body and chassis. Original YS block, TH400 trans, and 3.23 posi are all present. Paul made the deal, and drove it home. Four days later he got the PHS back: Expresso Brown, Gold Interior, Fremont built, with 33 Factory Options!!

I bet he'd take $60k for it. Not sure where it says it's for sale.

Yes. He should finally join PY instead of being a constant lurker.

Kind of cool to see them driven on the street like that. No fluff. Might start a new trend. Just drive 'em like you find 'em and carry a tool box.

I agree Greg, Best part is, it's cheaper and you don't have to park on the other side of the parking lot when you go drive it to the store.

Cool Odd...

it doesn't have the trunk chrome. Late car? Just never seen a car that loaded lacking "standard" chrome, I guess. Neat find!

Where was that video made? Interesting looking/sized storage units...

The car is VERY cool, too.

Video is made at the Storage facility where Paul (driver/owner) has three units. They are 18 ft tall (many build a second story into them for storage, etc.) There are four basic sizes, I believe. 18 x 46, 26 x 46, 60 x 46 and I believe there is a front-back unit at 60+ feet long, doors on each end. This is just from memory and that might be slightly off on sizes.

Security fencing, gate with electronic key to enter/keypad also, lighted, each unit secured, heated, concrete floors, metal construction, electric included in association fee..

Here's one unit prepped for a Harley owner...
