Three sets were scheduled to ship this week by Wed (yesterday). Two of those sets will actually be shipped tomorrow & the 3rd set on Mon. Ron was trying to have 4 sent out this week but has been real sick the last two days & shouldn't have worked at all. He still got some stuff done those two days but not nearly as much as he was wanting too. One of those three sets is a new order & two are older orders.

Ron has two sets already scheduled to ship next week & I think a third set. I don't know the old to new ratio yet on those three but I will know when I take them to the shipper.

Looks great Sphynx...post some pics when you get them mocked up or on! Hey Deanna...not so important what the ratio is is it, as long as both old and new are going out

Default Header status

Aron

I sent you the additional cash for shipping via paypal. I also sent you an email and PM without a response yet. Did you receive the money and do you know if my headers were shipped this week?

Thanks.

Sorry ramair3 for the delay. I had a long week. Silly me I decided to help a friend buy a 455 from one of the members here. I left lower DE on Wed at 4 pm and arrived after multiple events (crazy NY drivers hit my trailer THREE times) at 2 am at the guys house in Long Island. Turned around and arrived back in north DE at 6 am Thurs....just in time for work. Then I worked today too.

Your headers were supposed to ship today I think if I'm correct without looking back at what we discussed? Hope I'm not wrong. Regardless, I cut Ron off in my conversation with him tonight after 5 minutes....long enough to find out that he has been sick with a chronic illness he has that leaves him in pain. He told me before I even asked that they'll definitely leave Mon. Get you a tracking # as soon as they do.

Are these made in the North Bay Area? I'm in the Bay Area and would be interested in knowing if there is a "local pickup" option, or the ability to come by and see them?

I have heard nothing, other than they should and I hope they will and nondescript shipments as posted earlier. I'm not sure why RAV girl can't tell who is getting theirs. So frustrating.

Sorry guys.....been very busy here. If I understand correctly ramair3's shipped Tues, and someone else as well.

vidguy.....he is not in the north bay area, sorry. There are lots of pics here though and lots of people happy when they have received.

Thanks Brad......all pics are welcome. Will continue to try to update as we go along. Paypal is causing me a problem maybe due to the large # of gift payments I have received. Will have to work a way around it. Hang in there everyone.....I know this is way slower than any of us want it to be. But for each and every one of you before I even take money for shipping I want to be able to give you a date they'll be boxed and labeled for shipping.

Default Headers delivered

All right guys, I've had a chance to take some photos of my headers that were finally delivered yesterday. Thank you Aron for helping mediate and communicate with Ron. Before I have these coated, I am going to have O2 bungs put in and have the welds ground some to make maintenance easier later.

I have plans to put them on my '69 Judge. I am in the middle of accumulating parts to convert it fuel injection. These headers will allow me to put negative roll tall spindles up front without worries of bottoming out on them.

The ball and sockets are Flowmaster pieces I had drop shipped from Summit Racing to Ron. I have them on another car and are nice for assemble/dis-assembly without leaking. No gaskets or donuts and you don't need perfect alignment like other methods.

ok guys....been super busy here, so sorry if I am behind replying to emails, PMs, etc. Again....please try to use my email if you can rather than PMs. The box fills up here and then I have to empty or archive it. In my email I can just put it in a folder. herculeaneffort@yahoo.com

This week 5 sets are going out. Bob, Skip, Serge and Doug.

In regard to the welds.....those inner welds are only for some additional strength...probably overkill. But they are WAY OUTSIDE the port dimensions on most heads unless extreme porting has been done. Here are some pics to give you an idea. As you can see the flange openings are way larger than the port on the head (flange is sitting on head). The white paint was applied with a Dougs Header FLANGE in place on the head, to give you an idea how off they can be. If you account for the tube and weld in a Dougs header.....it WOULD be somewhat impeding flow. The yellow pipe is Ron's. You can see there is plenty of room even with the weld.

And if you page back there are pics of Dougs headers and their welds. The Dougs welds are basically the same. Remember again....this is the inside of the tube, and sitting outside the port dimension. Smoothing it will gain you nothing unless you have huge ports.

Just wanted to post my Tri Y delivery. I had two sets arrive - one last Thursday and the other today. Both 1 3/4" F body round ports - one with oval collectors and one with round collectors.

Pics attached show both collector types and install pics with the round collector on my car with a Quick Time RM 8072 bellhousing and T56 Magnum transmission. They fit great!!! No interferences at all.

Thanks go to Aron for making this happen and to Ron for great fitting headers.
