The SSBC set up was well crafted. My version was polished aluminum and the calipers were excellently made with four pins holding it together for minimum caliper flexing under heavy loads. Real stainless steel lines. The pads were good street units a little higher friction than stock but not track stuff as this was a street car. If I recall correctly, you could use Lincoln Versailles rear caliper units if you wanted a jobber style system. The rear axle to equalizer cables are going to be the only fly in the ointment. The lengths are usually off just a bit. Make sure you use the whole set up in the conversion esp the proportioning valve and adjuster knob if so equipped. A complete factory kit includes proper master cylinder and booster so no special adjustable valve is needed there. I have no exp with Baer but their reputation seems good. Another company is MasterBrake.
