Well - you couldn't ask for a better place to get support and answers as you go. Looking forward to seeing her come back to life!

Starting to assemble my 70 Formula. Got a long way to go with exterior & interior both, but this the fun part!

HWY - Thanks, I love the black & chrome/stainless look myself. It is pretty tight in the shop/booth, so full on side shot is was not possible when I took these. Here is about the best I currently have, but I will get more once it's all together or maybe sooner.

Thanks again. That will look awesome on the W-30. I was a little torn with going black on my bird, but in the end I had to do it. Just my favorite look on a classic ride...

Thanks fellas for all the posts. My body guy is friend at work, so we have been working on the body and paint for right around a year now. Weekends only when time allows. He is super detailed. Can't wait to do a bit more next weekend! I'll update soon, hopefully will be all together in 4 weeks or so with luck.

I have walked and stood in the very tracks where your car is parked for these pictures at Wild Woody’s. Lots of car shows all around in the summer. Went to Woodward Ave. there that summer. It was back in '99 there in the Motor City. I stayed at a motel close to there for 6 months while I worked in the Detroit area. Seeing your car there brings back some great memories. Also saw some great machines on Jefferson Avenue. What a great city. There's an automotive machine shop or body shop every mile in any direction. Thanks for posting

Clobber bird,
Beautiful car and inspirational pics- I decided not to go the matte black paint route, bite the bullet and go back to square one w/ the bodywork and prep for gloss black paint. Your pics show me the future of what my Bird should look like- thanks.

The silver 17 x 9 Honeycombs also look incredible w/ the finished car-just stunning.

I'm a little bored so I thought I'd post a few Pix

As it sits right now

On the way to Wi.

Some Nice Birds Here

Tipp City

Took this photo when I was selling my fenders, I thought it came out pretty neat with my sons Camaro in the backround.

SDBob in his 74 SD, another lucky picture. I seem to remember he was doing about 100 here on the way back from Tipp, notice the name of the road.

Before I replaced the springs

Killer pics Craig!

What's the story on the fenders - repairing your originals?

Ya Chris, The old ones were shipped to Maine on Greyhound. The originals are stripped and repaired, just trying to get enough energy to paint them and reinstall them in thier rightful place.
