Well, if it makes you feel any better, these are the headers that were made for my brother in law's car: http://www.evosport.com/product/prod...VO.EXH.M09.H02

The price is about 1/3 of the way down the list: http://www.evosport.com/product/vehi...BZ_CLK63BS.pdf

Here is the rest of the car before he got rid of the funny doors: http://www.evosport.com/projects/mercedes/clk63black/

I know they are not apples to apples but just an example of what some custom equipment goes for. Just sayin'

Then don't. You felt the need to chime in because......?

How long and how much for a set of 70 GTO A body D port auto headers?

Coating or uncoated price and delivery.... Ive seen the pictures posted and they look amazing....really nice.

Sorry, I cant read the entire thread to find the info, so easier to ask here.

PM me if you would rather.

Thanks,

Jeff

Just so everyone knows. Ron and I do not agree on the situation at hand and each of us must take his own road.

I wish all of you the best of luck on this endeavor.

I have followed this thread for a couple years and read every single post in the hope that when I am ready, Ron will be in a better place.

I know this thread is not intended for those who do not have money in the pool. I do not currently have spare money for anything car-related (haven't spent $100 on my car in the last 3 years). However, I felt the need to comment. (Mods feel free to delete if needed.)

From everything I have read I would not hesitate to order these headers despite the known delivery issues. The ones shown by those who have received/installed are beyond anything else available for double the price. I personally think that $700 plus shipping would be a bargain today for uncoated headers of this quality. Coated (or my preference, stainless) for a suitable increase in cost plus an extra $50-100 for Ron that would also be more than fair.

For now all I can send is best wishes to all involved who are trying to improve a very frustrating situation.

I am donating the proceeds from the sale of a Torker 1 intake to help get some Tribal Tubes headers out the door.

So you can buy an intake and help someone get their Tri-Y's at the same time!

Aron, I've not heard back from you so I am planning to buy Roadrage David's set Monday. So please let me know if you can if anything looks different on my order ...
I guess if I buy Davids when I finally get my 2" version I can maybe resale Davids and recover something from the double purchase.

Thanks
