I don't know why you would paint a Sierra yellow judge burgundy. I think the yellow is a great color. It's not like it was voodo green.

So...
you would change a '70 Verdoro car to Sierra Yellow? Just curious. Ron

I really like the yellow. I just dont like verdoro green. It will be interesting to see how much the color change will hurt the car.

The silver convertible is becoming a regular at auctions. Don Davis sold it at the 2010 Mecum Indy auction for $120k then 9 months later the "Double L Ranch" collection from Jackson Wyoming sold it to Rick Hedrick at the 2011 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction for $110k. Now its back at Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction 1 year later....

I don't think that's the same car Jeff, in fact I don't believe that car is restored yet, but I could be wrong.

Yes, but I'd be even happier with the silver one!

Think it was Sierra / Sandlewood / White Top - and 4speed.
I'd change Sierra or Verdoro or Pallisade - but probably not use Burgo on the switch. Real good looking car for sure though. White cars with Black wings and Blue stripes always make me cringe a little. |

There was a really good article in GTOAA THE LEGEND (?) one year about this silver / burgundy vert car and its drive back to original selling dealer. Complete with pictures and some of the dealer staff.

That's the way I remember it. He wasn't a Pontiac guy and was looking for advice. He had about a 2-3 day shot at buying it. I believe the originally suggested price by the owner was climbing as they talked, and the buyer was fidgeting with offers. Pretty quickly someone here (from there) caught on, swooped in and paid the seller a price they liked. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
That's why when I'm looking for advice on a buy I don't post pics. I KNOW people from here have seen it before I have and know where it's at. |

I saw both the silver and burgandy Judges being sold and the Speed Channel commentators said 'originality counts'.

I agree, but also for the record I would be happy to own either one for 70K as they stand...
