My first GTO. This was taken in 1973 when it was a street/strip car. The following year the GTO was taken off the street.. Oh yea, I'm driving so technically I'm in the picture.

Default i turned 40 today

i turned 40 today, so here are some pics of me and my first GTO 22 years ago, Im sure Cobrabill or PonchoV8 will end up using the pics sometime in the clubhouse. lol

1st motor i ever rebuilt, never took the cam out and washed the block in a partswasher, put it in a 67 4spd and beat up on many cars in the minneapolis area. car was so rusty it had a stopsign pole mounted above the framerails to attach the gas tank straps to.

on dates i had to lift the front pass side fender by the headlamp to get the door open, and no one could step on the floor in the back without going through.

many a good time was had in that car.... miss it - Ryan

My 67 GTO Post in October 1992. I still have this one. 20th anniversary of ownership this year, and the longest relationship I've ever had!

Also, me and the parents 74 Cat, circa 1975. Then me and my 74 Bonne, circa 2011.

1980/81

Here she is up to her axles in snow, "Ski Trip" late 1982. Got stuck in a snow bank somewhere in upstate NY after an all nighter at a little gin mill called the Red Dragon. Just wish I could remember where I was, Man what a trip

Me and my first car, a 63 Grand Prix after a car show in 1978. The dude in the other pic? Well, that's me the day dad and I brought it home from the dealer in Bushnell, IL.

Today, it is the sole occupant of my 28x34 garage while it gets a frame-off restoration.

My 66 GTO in 1968, Got the car for $1,600 with 23,000 miles on it. Kept it until 74. Met and courted my wife in it and a high probability at least 1-2 kids got made in it.
