Default 1986 1/2 GP 2+2 Aerocoupe parts car

Not mcuh more than a parts car. Frame is rusted bad, interior is shot & smells like mouse urine, body is rusty, hasn't run in 5 years, but it is complete and all of the unique 2+2 parts are in good to easily fixable shape. Complete, original car, though. Original 305 H.O. (wopping 165 horse), 3.55 posi 10 bolt, quick ratio steering box, etc, etc, etc. I'd like $1750. for it.....you can't even buy an original rear window for that It would make a great donor car for a regular Grand Prix. Most parts it needs are the same as stock GP parts, but it needs pretty much everything. If it doesn't sell, I MIGHT consider parting it out, but that's would be difficult as it is stored a long ways away from me. Clean MN title in my name.

Damn, If you weren't so far away I'd love to work a package deal. Shipping would just be too much though.

I here ya! So many times I see stuff on here that I want, but it's just too far away

I also have a '66 and a '69 GP that I will have listed here in late January. Again, package deals or trades welcome

I'd love to have it but won't be buying anything until my divorce is final. probably be at least spring. If you still have it then we'll talk.

Maybe you could just store 'em at your place for me... after you ran out to Minnesota and picked 'em up for me.

Mike-

Sorry about your divorce. I've been there myself. In fact, that's why I'm in this situation....too many projects & not enough room or time. When I got my divorce, I went a little nuts buying cars with my new-found freedom

2 more things....

1.) I was mistaken on the rear diff ratio. I think all of these came with 3.08's.

2.) I also have ALL of the original brochures, manuals, etc. from when this car was purchased new. That includes the original window sticker, pre-delivery checklist, all radio, warranty brochures, maint. schedules, etc. Even the original supplemental spare tire instruction sheet (really nothing more than a Zerox'd 1/3 sheet of paper with spare instructions for that little decklid, but it's pretty cool...can't be many of those around), plus a few extras (Super-Duty 2+2 parts order form, etc.). Would almost be a shame to part this thing with all these original and VIN specific docs!

Sale Pending. Believe it or not, the original owner is interested in it, but I haven't heard from him in the past few days. Told him I'd hold it for him. I'll know for sure by the end of the month.

Thanks!

Let us know if the original owner ends up buying it.

I called him when I got into Minnesota on Tuesday & left a message stressing the importance of getting back to me if he still wanted it. No response yet, so I guess it's still for sale. I'll be here until Tuesday, but my folks still live just a few miles from where the car is stored, so any time is fine. I will leave the title & all the original brochures with them. Let me know if anybody is interested, otherwise I think I'll try eBay again (tax season is probably a lot better time for a car on eBay).

I also found an '82 GP roller with a nice body and an extra frame on CL today for $600. You could restore it & use the frame for this 2+2. Just sounded like a good deal to me.

That makes 3 Pontiacs sold in 3 days! I did take less than I wanted to, but it sure is a load off knowing I only have 1 car left in Minnesota (that one's not for sale....yet). Thanks again to all who inquired!
