Default 63 Tempest headers

I found a set of headers that fit a Tempest/Lemans chassis like they were made for it. The headers are 3 tube with a 3 1/2" collector. The end pipes are 3/4" and the center pipe is 2". They can be installed without raising the engine, denting the pipes, notching the cross member, or even cussing! The oil filter has to be removed, (maybe the starter-don't know for sure). There is adequate ground clearance and room the flange bolts.
Pictures are attached. The brand and part number are unknown because I bought them at a swap meet. They could be Cyclone, Blackjack, or Hedman , as all three companys still sell 3 tube headers for Pontiacs. Check the pictures.
The 3 tube headers are ok for a street car, not best for drag racing. Jim Hand tested the 3 vs. 4 tube headers and found the 4 tubes about a second faster in the qtr. mile, but the 3 tubes were similar in power production to the stock ram air manifolds.

When I purchased my car it had a set of 3-tube headers in the trunk. I don't know the brand but they bolted up perfectly to my 421 with no interference.

Dont know of anyone that sells just the right side unless you go with a RamAir cast manifold. 3 tubes are available just about everywhere!!! Check the for sale section, craigs list, E-bay, etc.

As a matter of fact I think I've got a set of the 3-tube headers
in the attic of my garage. I'll check this weekend and let ya know.

GT,,,The right side needs to look like the first pic that c5farmer posted. That is the exact pipe I am running. I have 2.5" all the way out the back.

I bought the ride side ram air 1 manifold from RARE. Just had it ceramic coated. I got the larger one so I can also run 2.5 inch exhaust all the back too.

recieve them by the 21st. I had some old rusty 2in
A-body headers that I'm useing the flanges so guess
what I'll be doing next week.LOL I'll get some pictures
