Hello, I've been trying to install window felts on my 65 gto that are PUI products. The inside felts with clips match up exactly but the outside flelts have punched sections that are suppose be inserted and slid into place, screws are added to hold it . The screw holes match up but the punched sections don't come close. Has anyone ever ran into this problem, and if so maybe you can help me with this problem as to what to do? The only thing I can think of is if there is a tool that can be bought to add punches in correct places and repunch? Does anyone know if they do sell such a tool and if so where I can buy one. Any other ideas that may help also appreciated.

Are you sure they are GTO felts? I ended up with a Chevelle set my '65 and ran into a similar issue (although I can't remember if it was inside or outside that was the problem). Ended up getting the correct GTO set and everything fit like it was supposed to.

Good question, they were ordered for 65 gto but they could have gotten crossed. I will check with Bowtie Supply where I got them they do carry chevelle parts also. Thanks

Bowtie Supply sounds like that maybe your problem right there. Not saying that they don't sell Pontiac parts, just kind of suspicious.
Might be that they think that all 65 GM products are the same, instead of just selling to bowtie guys they sell to the whole GM crowd with the same product. Just thinking as I have had issues with other parts that were bowtie but said to work with Pontiac.

I just dug out the old felts that were taken off a couple years ago and compaired to what they sent. Your right, the ones they sent don't actually have felt on them at all but rubber wipes other than that about the same. Thanks for the help figuring this out.
