This one has been around before, I recognize the hideous "parking lot ding preventer" molding that runs the length of the 1/4 panel...whomever installed that should have stopped it before the rear wheel opening. Other than that.....schweeeeet.

Cool Yeah...

I seem to recall it,as well. Shootin' for big bucks last time I think. Probably one of the nicest ones left. I like the "no air" thing! Ron

I don't ever recall this particular car being for sale before. The 4,800 mile example with the bodyside molding up for auction a few years back @ BJ was a 403 car..

The car had evidence of some interior restoration work, but was very nice.

Replacement hose clamps, and a painted dipstick stick out on a otherwise dirty underhood area.

This car recently came out of a private collection and the previous owner paid $54K for this car due its condition and extreme rarity!!!

Wink This was a nice car

IMO: I’ll take a dirty engine compartment and incorrect hose clamps every day over a “correct” rust bucket.
Money ahead….but ultimately don’t care, currently not in the market for a CA.

Opinions are like…. (Yes that applies to my IMOs too!)

Thumbs up

A few of my personally viewed and recorded (using my cell phone camera) images of cars started on the 1st day before the auction action began. FWIW: I drove car #1 throught this inaugural event – a 1976 Buick Convertible Pace Car.

Also: It was good to see “4door GTO” aka: John Chung (Mr MEGA CAMERA) and TABob aka: Bob Wicker at the Inaugural Houston Mecum 2012 Auction. Noted a lot of other “local” Poncho peeps throughout the auction days….

$29,500 seems a little steep to me, I may be wrong. What should this car sell for?

Tad strong for this economy, but it is an extremely low mile original car. Not a whole lot of them around with such low miles and some desirable options.
