Any luck on a 400 and a frame for this car?

Olds vs. "other A bodies":

I am pretty darn sure the oldsmobile A body cars switched to a crossflow radiator in 65 through 67, so the front frame horns are splayed out. That is, they have a jog making the horns wider apart, so it can accomodate a wide radiator. So, no, frames are not interchangable. One would have to cut, and weld the front horns.

The 64-67 Buick, Pontiac, and chevy frames (A body) have the same front frame sections, because they all used the up/down radiators. However, the chevy frame is shorter in the back behind the rear wheel "kickup" by about 3.5 inches.

Other fun facts:

Most Buick GS A body cars used convertible frames, even the hardtops.
64-67 El Camino frames are pretty much swappable with Pontiac / Buick convertible frames.
Station wagon cars (even chevy station wagon) also share the same frame dimensions as the Buick, Pontiac, Olds 2 dr, 4 dr, with the exception of the above-mentioned splayed front horns on the Olds.
