Nice car,I drive my 79 sparingly, but I due take it out for around 300-400 miles a year, you got a drive'm bro,and get on em too a little............otherwise it's a museum piece leaking fluids and looking pretty.

Well the funny thing is.. the car use to be in a museum.. and the rear main seal leaks a little, pretty typical.

My wife and I took our '78 Trans Am out for a nice drive today. Found some awesome backroads with lots of curves and ended up at a wind farm. Those are huge!!!.....lol.

Default My 79 TA

My lil ol 350 with Edelbrock heads on it. Alot of block grinding to make work. That blue anodize paint stands out in the sun.

Default My 1978 Trans Am

Here's my 1978 Trans Am which I purchased brand new off of a local Pontiac dealer's showroom floor in August of that year...

It is all 100% stock, except for the true dual exhaust system (with separate cats in each line), which I had done a coupla years ago after a run-in I had with the Ontario EPA folks. It still has---and plays VERY well!---an AM/8-=track radio from DELCO!

Default Just Goes To Show You...

...How very LITTLE I know about computers, anyway---especially Apple iMacs.

How in heck do you guys post photos alongside your notes, anyway...? What's the secret...? (or did Steve Jobs take it to the grave with him...?!)

Hi ve3,

Just to keep this thread on topic, here's a link to a PY post where some of the ways to do it are explained. Several more show up in the search, but that one seemed to have enough details right in one place.

Default Bought this last August.

Here is mine. 1979 WS6 T/A. Basically the way it sits is the way I bought it. Lots of cleaning and waxing. Only had a week to drive last year.

Fully loaded even with cruise. Did buy 15x8 snowflakes from another member and havent had money for the rubber but maybe this week.
