I had NO IDEA that these jackets were so rare....

Some 10+ years ago, my wife called me from a yard sale and asked me if I wanted this old GTO Judge racers jacket she had found there....When she told me it was "orange"... I asked her if it was the "orange" on a 70 Judge or the "orange" of the 69 GTO like my cousins....she said like my cousins....

Being a 1970 GTO lover....I passed on it.

She just told me from what she remembers...it looked JUST LIKE this one!!!!! (Not as good of shape she says)

Seller is just fishing. These jackets were reproduced a few years ago. An original is only worth what someone is willing to pay, but the last original I saw sold for $200, and that was before the repros came out.

I have two original large jackets NOS, not a small which wouldn't fit a 98 pound weakling or a girl with anything bigger than a 36 c.

Interesting that he would pack it real well to ship....at the number he is seeking one would think hand delivery within a 1,000 mile radius would be a better option.

While itrs true its tough to go up in price this seller has left "room" to work with a potential buyer....also eliminates next owner from trying to reap a profit in their lifetime!

just my thoughts..

In my immediate world we have a similar jacket that recently hovers around the $1500 price range that back in the day could be had for $50 or so. I am referring to the GNX jacket related to the 547 GNXs produced by Buick/ASC.

Another jacket also highly sought after although many fakes have been sodl on ebay would be the original Hurst jacket which I have one as I also have a GNX jacket.

For all us practical folk, $13,000 for a vintage racing jacket is outragous.
But some elite speculators would probably call it pocket change.

I think this guy had nothing better to do and decided "hmm maybe I can put this on ebay and sell it for 13k, I mean people buy crusty molded bread that looks like jesus for tons of money. I will post it on ebay after one more hit on my pipe"
