I am replacing the seat belt guides on my bucket seats (76 GP). I am also installing new escutcheons for them. Should I cut the small "tab" in the escutcheon? I think this would allow the guides to hang straight down, instead of pointing forward.
I have seen that the tab is needed to hold the guide in position on bench seats. Every bucket seat I have seen has the guides hanging straight down though. What's the original on bucket seats? Thanks, Hans |
