I just picked up a Smith & Wesson M & P Shield in 9mm. Got rid of the somewhat unreliable Taurus TCP. It's less than 1" wide, and dead solid reliable. I ran every type of 9mm ammo I could find thru it with zero issues.

I couldn't get thru 3 mags with the Taurus without an issues, and it HATED hollow point ammo.....Cliff

XD-45, 5" barrel here. About 1000 or so rounds thru it, not even the hint of a jam, misfire, or stove-pipe.
I'm a lousy shot, but it holds 13+1, so I can compensate with quantity.

It's too damn big to carry, so I'd like to find a nice and small 9mm as a carry weapon.

There are many good youtube videos on this.

Bob,

No thanks, I'll stick with my Colt Woodsman and GSG-9. The GSG tears down just like a 1911.

The P89/90/95 Ruger are good pistols. I just happen to REALLY like the 1911.

Only time we can have a large clip in Mass is if it's pre-ban. Anything newer than that "high capacity" is 10 rounds

Oh forgot the M1 carbine-if I could find an extra upper/barrel I could put a second one together.

But the ban at least Federal is off so still can't have a mag over 10?
My AK clone was post ban but takes a 30 round also. I actually like the wood thumbhole stock over a pistol grip the true AKs have.
