Yes it has been reported in local press about Holden export deal to the the US..
The SS name to revived and all reported about nascar..
This model in OZ is called the VE commodore, with about 5 different models.
Our SS model is the sports model..
The new model here is to be a VF, to be released soon, will be just a face lift..

The article keeps calling it a sedan, so I presume this will be a (another) 4-door that NASCAR will fabricate to look like a 2-door.
There'll probably never be another 2-door street version car that gets represented by NASCAR's top division.

The problem is how much is it going to be, the starting price of the Holden is $42,000....seems a little high for a 4door sedan V8 or not.

The price we pay for a Holden here will not reflect what you will pay in the U.S.
Australian consumers get skinned alive by retailers and everything here is much more expensive than what you would pay for the same article in America.
I visit every couple of years and buy all my clothes and small electrical items while I'm there at huge savings over what I'd pay in OZ. And I might add that the clothing is better quality as well.

Yeah but our Made in China crap isn't cheap either. Especially when you end up buying 2 or more of the same thing that keeps breaking.
