Default Turbo 350 issues

Hello all, I have a th-350 that I've had sitting around for a few years, when I got it I put a b&m shift kit and a 2300 stall, 2 days ago I finally got my car running and the trans in. Drove it for a few days and the passing gear would not work, today it suddenly worked however now it won't hold a gear if the engine Rpms are under 3000 it will just act like its going into neutral or search between them.
When it does go into gear it's nice and solid.
I'm at a lose, any ideas?

Yea I checked it this morning it has full vacuum, now it won't go into any gear even at high rpms, replaced the kickdown and the modulator, didn't help. I guess I'll haul it to a tranny shop or swap it for a 4 speed setup

Is the fluid burnt? Any weird noises? Sounds like the clutches burned out. Do you know how the clutch packs were assembled, or if upgraded sprags were installed? This can also happen if the shift kit wasn't installed properly, or if the pickup filter falls off.

Years ago my T/A wouldn't go into high gear in higher RPM's and found out the rubber vacuum line was sucking itself shut.
