Yep, you'll probably snap most, if not every, body bolt on the car. That's just the way it is. Happened with my '67 Bonneville convertible restore as well. The bolt heads are sandwiched in pockets on the car's floorpans right from the factory. After the bolts snap, your body man will go inside the car, open up those pockets from the top, and replace the bolts, re-welding the pockets shut and grinding down flat. There may be other ways, but that's what I did.

FYI, The bolt heads are inside the frame, they snapped off at the frame. The nuts or clips are above the frame in the body.This is a very rusty car.
This is why I am asking what to do and do it the the right way.
