Default '63 NOS back-up lights assy. - value?

Anybody recall what the going rate for a NOS back-up lights kit is on eBay these days? or care to say what a fair market value would be?

Paid about $100 (+-) off epay, might have been the set above?

Maybe we need a "what's it worth" thread.

I agree 100-125 is the going rate for those.

If anyone is looking for a set of NOS backup lights, I'm bringing a set to Norwalk. $100.00 is the price and that is what I have sold them for before.

Well for what it's worth: I have two sets and they both cleaned up pretty good. The biggest concern is good lenses ... they are on ebay many times. My thought is you can't really see them unless you get on your knees so I would rather spend the big $'s on something that you can see?

Considering how much it costs to repair and chrome them to new condition, not to mention buying nice lenses, 100 bucks is a fair price.

I was told the lenses are the same as 64, is this true?

I will have some good used ones for sale as well, much cheaper. All of my parts are either clean and good used driver quality or NOS. I love the 63's, but I have found a 1965 GTO exactly like the one that I had when I was 16. (At 51, I guess I want to recapture my youth). So, I have decided to sell all of my 63 parts, both NOS and good used to help me in my endeavor. ( I recently sold my cars.) All of the NOS parts that I have is coming to Norwalk. I also have a lot of electrical and mechanical smalls & suspension components for the 61 and 62s as well. Chrome goodies are all 63: 1 set of headlight bezels; 1 set of grilles; 1 set of poverty caps; partial NOS set of tempest rear tail panel chrome (gas door is good used); 1 set of nos tempest tail light lenses and ring caps; and so forth. Several NOS ignition switches for all years. Will have everything priced by show time. I will not have any junk.

Don't mean to hijack this thread as a parts advertisement. I just know that I alot of folks are reading this thread at the moment. I look forward to meeting everyone.

Back up lights are all the same from 61-3. The pair I picked up at Norwalk were off a 63 and are identical to the ones on my 62.

From what I have seen, the entire backup light assembly including the lens is the same for 61-63. The lens looks to be the same for a 64 but the housing is different. 61-63 housings are oval shaped & the 64 housing is round but lens looks the same from what I can see.
