pont 455 12 bolt

yes they are the same ,even the casting number -the difference is the chevy 12 bolt casting number u can see looking from the backside of car (as in gastank looking towards front of car . Pontiac 12 bolts were all made in canada and the casting number is on the back side of the carrier -can only be seen from crawling under car and looking towards the rear of car casting number will be on lower right hand (drivers side) of carrier.
