Default Parting Out 1972 LeMans

I'm parting out a 1972 LeMans. This is my parts car for my 1970 GTO build. It's about 50% gone. No front end. no doors, no bumpers, no seats. Still has some trim, steering column, shifter, wiring, and lot's of misc little parts which can be hard to find. Also entire cab with good floors, trunk, roof and bad quarters. I'm going to try and sell the cab locally, but if I can't I can cut patch panels for anyone who is interested. Car needs to be gone by winter. If you need anything let me know and I'll try and make you a good deal. Just hate to see these parts go to waste.

BAN: I assume you are talking about sheet metal? If you are, I have it. I want to try and sell the whole body first. I'll keep you posted.

abefromen: If I cut the car up I should have what you need. I'll keep you posted.

BlvjdJudge: I have both of these. Let me look them over and see how good of shape they are in. I'm pretty sure these are stainless? I'll get back to you with condition and price.

Thanks,
Jason

Does the car have any decent side moldings? Is there a console (I need the light housing under the indicator for an automatic)? How about rear window stainless trim (need the upper left piece)?

Thanks,
Mike

BlvdJudge

The moldings are in pretty good shape. No dings or bends or kinks. Some rust on the back side, mostly at the back of window. There is one scratch that is about 4" long. Also one trailing edge is pushed in a little, but it should bend back out fine. They need some buffing and there is some paint overspray on them. The corner pieces are not in very good shape. One is split and the other is pretty bent. Also includes the factory screws. I've included pictures. I'll take $60 plus shipping if you want them. I have a few more pictures and at better resolution. Send me your email if you want more.

For all of those looking for sheet metal, I'll keep you posted. It will be a few weeks before I decide to cut it up. But I am leaning that way right now.

mbwicz1 - No side moldings. I have the console piece you want, but I'm not sure I want to separate it. I'll look through the rest of my parts, I may have a spare. I have a complete set of rear window molding, but I don't want to split them up. I'll sell the whole set for $60 plus shipping.

74 SD455 Formula - Sorry no dash pad.

Under windshield molding. No bends or tweaks or holes. Does have one rough spot near the passenger side windshield wiper. Some overspray. Could definitely be fixed.

$60 plus shipping.

Jason,
Is the console in decent shape? Let me know what you need for the console plus the light bezel, please.

Thanks,
Mike

Any word on the lower fender bracket that mounts on the firewall for the drivers side? Also need a trunk "Pontiac" emblem if you have it?

gtomike - yes, I have the firewall bracket you need. Just not ready to cut the car up yet. I need to look through my emblems to see if I have one. If I do, it would only be driver quality.

Did the car have a vinyl top? I am looking for a set of driprail moldings.

So all together, I am looking at the rear window trim, console light, console base, and drip rail moldings. Lemme know....

Thanks,
Mike
