The problem with Kyle is that he is a helluva driver but his arrogance and bad attitude overshadow all that talent. If he would grow up and just drive he could be one of the great drivers of his generation.

The arrogance, bad attitude, bad manners, and bad temper could very well be the reaons that cost him his chance for the chase. Maybe, just maybe the crew had enough of this moron and.......darn, forgot a lugnut.

It'll be different for the Hendrick cars starting a Chicago, they have to rework all the rearend settings on their cars as it has been found that they had an advantage over the other teams/makes and was barely within specs. I'm not glad that Gordon made it, didn't what to see Kyle in it though either. Still Gordon couldn't drive the car until after the last rain delay and then it was perfect. I have my own opinions on this but will keep them to myself except to say the Hendricks organization is back to their old tricks again.

Agreed. A normal human being would have walked over to Jeff Gordan's car and congradulated him on a job well done. I personally am glad that Kyle didn't make the chase, can't say that the speed channel feels the same way, he's their favorite driver to talk about. They do that because he is unpredictable, just like his brother. It makes for great talk.
