Default 66 vert frame interchange

Sirs, can someone tellme if a66 skylark frame is a direct interchange with my 66 gto vert. I know i have to add my zbar bracket and left rail section for numbers Is there anything else to be totally correct? thanx

Should be a direct replacement. Skylark and Cutlass are the same as GTO....Chevelle is shorter.

Is the Skylark frame a Convertible too?? Not a good idea to use a coupe frame unless it has additional support added to match the factory conv. frame.

Yes, it has to be a Skylark convertible with the boxed frame. The '65 Buick Gran Sport hardtops also had the fully boxed, convt. spec frame.
