I’m looking for the bottom portion of a back seat for a hardtop 1969 GTO in black. I certainly would be interested in a complete backseat but my needs are just the bottom. My seat in my car currently is what appears to be for a convertible. Everything matches exactly except it is too short from side to side. I understand these are very hard to come by so if anyone has what I need, a trade would be fine by me. If you have a seat in the wrong color but a good frame, this may work for me but isn’t my first choice. The closer you are to the Tampa Bay area in Florida, the better.

Do you have the small armrests on the rear side panels?
If so, you have the rear seat from car w/lower armrests.....I just posted a set for sale here. Conv seat measure 48" long........the armrests I posted are black so would be a match for your car. I am in Seminole, about 10 miles south of you. |

Thanks for the reply. There are currently no armrests installed, but it should have the smaller ones. The back of the seat, wider than the bottom, is flush against the sides, but the shorter bottom leaves about 4” of space on each side. I’m not sure of the proper way to measure it, but it’s about 51” across at the widest point of the seat. It could easily be 48” if measured on the bottom. I think I’d prefer to install the correct armrests and seat and from what I can tell, the larger armrests for the ’69 were only for the convertibles.

So does anyone have a correct black back seat for sale? I have a lead on a frame, but a driver quality seat is what I'd like. Anyone?
