I don't really have the outright cash for it due to heating and Xmas coming up.

The current one is kinda crunchy, and I don't like the way the out-riggers for the cage, and the way the flares were done.

But the new one would be like a fresh start. Or do you think with that amount of work - I want a cage and flares on the new one, that its just not worth Getting a new one. The new one would also have to be converted from auto to manual.

Avoid it? Try to get it? Also, If I got it, I'd have to part the old one(which is now in storage) which means I'd have four cars for a while - one 200 in storage, this new one on the road or in storage, my T/A project at my Dads, And my Kia. All to much you think?

Sounds like you don't really need a new project.
I like the way your gray 200SX looks. Is it also an '86? My ex brother-in-law had an '84 200SX. Neat little cars.

If you really must convert the red one to a stick-shift, you should try to get them to lower the price. It shouldn't be that much because of the age alone IMHO. Edmund's and Kelly Blue Book don't even show that model to appoint a value. I doubt if N.A.D.A. does either. Too damn old.
Being RWD, I bet the suspension and driveline parts are hard to find, unless they interchange with the 300 stuff. I bet these are a rare sight in a salvage yard.

P.S. I'd wait to see how the election goes before you pull the trigger. Maybe they'll dump it off cheaper if Romney is elected.
