Well ****,
It looks like those of us in Central Indiana had better batten down the hatches. I'm NOT looking forward to this one. If it hits the high end of the snow predicitions this could be 78 all over again.
 Blizzard warning for almost all of Central Indiana for late tonight through Wednesday. Strong winds, heavy snow and ice will move in tonight and continue through Wednesday…more details to come. Permalink

Or, you could escape Indiana and come here because I have leftover roast beef cooked slow and falling apart, carmelized onion halves and carrots, a ham that needs baked, and for tomorrow, boneless pork loin chops to be breaded and baked (Mom's recipe from my childhood), and homemade yeast rolls (again, my Mom's recipe). |

Amy If I wasn't contracted to move this stuff I'd wouldn't be out in it! The bad thing is I KNOW how bad I'll feel after this is done and that won't be pretty! I'm thinking a I may throw a bottle of bourbon in the truck to go with the manditory ALEVE!
Thanks for the invite, just stuffed the leftover Chicken the boys requested as today's dinner in the fridge. Heading out for a ride now. Jim that's Tempting but I'm afraid coming home would kill us after the summer temps!

Once, Twice, Three Times a PITA!!!!
High winds knocked out our electrical power today 1st time @ 1130 am, restored for 30 mins the out 2nd time @ 3pm for 20 mins, and restored for the 3rd time today @ 6pm while temps are dropping from 70's to 30 tonite...Yoo Hoo!!!
Really we are still happy campers here as Christmas Dinner was delivered on time via natural gas stove...going for 3rds now! |

FUnny how you love and hate the snow at the same time...i like the change of season, buringn firewood and the boys like to go skiing. BUt I hate the cleanup after storms. The worst part is the truck won't fit in the garage with the plow on it, so it's either put it on in the snow or dig the whole rig out after. (Maybe I should get Joyce to do it once...that would CERTAINLY get authorization for another building...100x60 with 14 ft ceiling...Oh boy!!)
Unfortunately I raised no dummies, the boys are too good at hiding when it's time to do these jobs. Just look foward to summer Mike...I'm putting the rebuilt engine and 727 trans in the Packard now and it's gonna be quite the cruiser this year if all goes well. FUn job, thinking I need a flathead Pontiac.... |

9in of snow on the ground, winds steady at 12 gusting to 46mph. Have a couple more hours left.

Talked to a buddy north of Piqua,OH this morning. Russ had over a ft of snow in front of his hanger. Looks like I got back to FL just in time!
