Report from the BCS national championship Game
For my End of year bonus, my boss got us tickets to see the Bama- ND game.
With all of the tailgating preparations I had to make and the excitement before, during and after the game, I am just now able to submit my field report. I ordered 3 slabs of ribs from Dreamland in Tuscaloosa and warmed them on a grill at the stadium. Had 3 of my college friends/room mates from back in the day there with their sons, 2 of whom are also Delta Sigs at Bama now. Had about 11 of the student Delta Sigs come to the tailgate for some food and beverages, typical college kids! Smell free food and drinks and they come a running! The Jello shots were deadly btw. Had great seats for the first half, but was too close to the ND band, so after meeting some of the guys at halftime at the Bacardi hospitality center, I sat in the Bama student section and enjoyed my time there! Got to yell Rammer Jammer with a few thousand of my closest friends at the end of the game. 15 National Championships! Made it home late last night and still need to unload the truck Great to be with so many of my friends from Bama and they treated my ND fan boss as one of our own. BTW, the ND fans were a great bunch. There were still thousands of them at the game till the end. They were still tailgating after the game and were a lot more fun to be around than some of the other school's fans that I have had to endure. ROLL TIDE |
