69 gto carb wanted
does anyone out there know where i can find a carb for my car i need one of these 7028270 or7029270 please i do not want to be taken

I know a guy that has one. It's been sitting in his garage for 30+ years, so I know its not a restamp. It's a 7029270. Looks clean, threads at inlet appear to be good. But, he wants a $1000.00 for it. If you are interested, give me a couple days and I'll get you you some pics. If not, I understand.

I have an SR restored but have no idea of value today 1/22/13. If anyone has stayed current with the market (unlike myself) and could PM me I would appreciate it. I would like to help this gentleman out.
