Default 76 GP Glass Channel Weatherstrip/Outer Belt Moldings

Hi,

I need to replace the Glass Channel Weatherstrip/Outer Belt Moldings on my 76 GP. I have found two products and wonder if anyone has had any experience with any of them. One is sold by Ames (PF466 73-77 Outer Window Glass Channel Weatherstrip GP, 2pcs (RE) $99). The other one is sold by "thepartsplaceinc" on eBay ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/1973-77-GRAN...item3f1eb97c4b )

Does the outside metal molding come with any of these?

Also, Ames states that the design may differ from the original, so I would like to buy the one that is closest to the original.

Please let me know if you have tried any of these two products.
Thanks,
Hans

I got a set of them about 3 years ago. I believe I got them from Soffseal, I'll check my records. I can get pictures if interested.

Default outer window weatherstrip

I bought mine from AMES about 10 years ago.
Perfect fit.
It is only the plastic that you are buying.
You need to reuse the metal trim strip.

Be prepared for some work because getting the screws out of the door requires dropping the window below it's normal travel.
