Yeah...that's a great segment of the movie.

The plate number of the car sitting on tracks does not match the one getting some air.
Probably the one that gets smashed near the end of the movie.

IIRC: The stunt driver who was stunt driving; either the Blue Cadillac or the Impala (below); in the chase scene (towards the end of the movie) on the beach died on impact into one of the pier pilings. IIRC a car magazine [Car & Driver(?)] wrote that the stuntmans' widow agreed that the scene should be used in the movie to honor her deceased husband. Feel free to correct this information.
