I am looking for a fuel tak sending unit for my 74 GTO, it should be same for all x body cars Nova/Ventura's etc. They don't seem to reproduce them. An help to point me in the right direction would be appreciated

The gas tank on a 73-74 is different from the 68-72. It dimples down to form to the shape of the trunk pan. On a 73-74, the spare tire has a deepened "well in the trunk floor that isn't in the 68-72 floor. I read somewhere to use one out of a 75-76 Xbody.

Single line or two? Do you have the original one? What's the actual problem?

I believe it has two lines. I will be pulling it out this morning to confirm. We've narrowed the fuel gauge problem down to the sending unit. The guage is showing full all the time.

Have you had a chance to study the part yet?

Yes I did, it has two lines. We did an additional test on the sending unit now that it is out and reconfirmed it was faulty.
