Default Divider Panel Question

I purchased a trunk divider panel with the masticated jute padding on it from PY. Part number rpi532m. My question is what way is this to be installed? Padding towards the trunk or facing the front of the car? Also I thought there was some sort of a rigid type panel that goes on the back of the seat...

Thanks Again Tom

Mine is jute to trunk. You wouldn`t want the seat springs, over time, to contact that jute.
