I need to replace the rubber washer on my refrigerant dispenser. It's for R134A and it's the rubber washer that seals the top of the can to the dispensing valve. I went to the parts store and they looked at me like I'm nut's. I know that someone has to sell these, anyone have any idea where I can get one.

Any decent A/C parts house should have one. I go here in Phoenix. http://www.aapak.com/

If it's the one I think your talking about,I've cut a small piece of soft vacuum hose in pinch.

Any decent A/C parts house - good idea, I've never seen one in Chicago but I'll give it a search.
A small piece of soft vacuum hose - my other thought was hitting the hardware store and searching through the faucet washers. If vacuum hose worked for you then I'll probably go with that if I don't find something. |

also might have luck stacking a few orings until you find the right one.
Seems like I bought a box of them that had 5 in it from supply house. they are sort of cone shaped with a beveled bottom
