Well i got my Legendary seats back. The guy that did them misunderstood me when i delivered the stuff and he kind of ****ed up but that's a whole other story. They turned out ok after he corrected them. I also fabbed up some 1/8" steel straps to move the seats back 3". 3" was a bit too much but i can adjust forward now. I still need to paint those. Anyhow the seats have a couple issues but nothing on legendary's part, overall i would say i'm happy. Here's a couple interior shots...

Man, those Legendary door panels look crisp, and it looks like they use a thicker batting under the vinyl than the PUI panels the PO put in my car. Do the seats still feel good and stable with the straps?

Nick..... Car is looking great!!!
The Sport seats look great, I was thinking about the ProCar Ralley seats, but heard so many complaints about they are higher then stock, this looks like a great alternative..... The Rallye kit is foam and covers? Do they keep you in the stock position?.... just better bolsters? LOL.... 11 years I have owned my GTO, and I have never been to the Legendary website..... I might even add the headrests to my seats!!!!

Well I got some of the SC&C stage II stuff coming in the mail. I got the Currectrac upper and lower rear control arms with Johnny Joints and the Helwig front and rear chassis mounted sway bars {as opposed to LCA mounted} They should hopefully be here in a week or so.
If anyone is interested in .... -Boxed stock upper and lower control arms with practically brand new rubber bushings featured earlier in the build post {1 year of use} -Edelbrock/QA1 Adjustable rear control arms with johnny joints and both set of adjusters for 64-67, and 68-72 {3 months of use} -1.25" Front WS6 sway bar/poly mounts [1 year of use} -HD Bilstien shocks, all 4 corners {1 year of use} PM me and we can talk about it

Yeah. Theyre adjustable and extremely beefy. I think they use 1" adjuster sleeves and johnny joints as opposed to 3/4 like most of the others. The lowers are not adjustable but they're billet aluminum to reduce unsprung weight. Not to mention theyre a work of art.....

Ill be doing that when I change frames later this summer, along with the front SPC uppers and lowers, springs and varishocks. I talked to Mark today about the varishocks I emailed you about. He said he was waiting to see how the new Ridetech H and Q series adjustable shocks were going to turn out but that it was going to take one hell of a new product to get him to sway from Varishocks.

I have my front end together and the Ridetech shocks are pretty nice. The ride is firm but not harsh. The shocks that I am using requires the shock stud location to be drilled out to 3/4" to allow the shock to mount properly to the frame. I used a uni-bit and got a little carried away and the hole grew to 13/16" I made a bushing to take up the difference with no problems. Always something.

Well some parts started to finally come in. Warning: If you intend to order chassis parts, be prepared for a long wait. Its been almost 6 weeks and stuff is finally coming in. I called SC&C a couple times and Marc basically told me that its standard for a lot of chassis parts to be back ordered. After asking around and reading forums this seems to be the case. Most of these guys are not Summit and Jegs. I guess iv'e gotten spoiled with a 3 days turnaround from those guys. That said ill be ordering my SPC upper and lower A arms. I found a supplier for backstocked USA made tie rods and center links etc for our GTO's, and i'm also going to order SPC springs and a front end alignment tool from Marc. I'm thinking about keeping the Bilstien shocks for a while until Ridetech gets their new HQ shock out and some guys review it. Its fully adjustable, its in line with the Varishock stuff i'm considering and I love the idea of a 1,000,000 mile warranty on their stuff. That speaks volumes to me. Plus anyone who is winning auto X stuff is using ridetech parts right now.....Well heres a few shots of my new swaybar stuff. Im hoping to see the currectrac stuff soon.
This is the rear bar. It is a chassis mounted piece. It allows for full articulation and eliminates binding in tight corners that is associated with the stock rear swaybar that is mounted to the LCA's. It also has 3 adjustments. Dragrace, Street and Roadrace. That's what the 3 holes are for on the bar ends. Its also a hollow bar and weighs almost nothing and has a nice hammertone powdercoat finish! Ill do some picture taking when I install it. Hopefully this weekend! ![]() ![]() Here is the front bar. Nothing fancy here. Just a hollow front bar to complement the rear bar. Its featherweight as well, hammertone powdercoated and comes with very nice hardware. The end links I got are specifically for the SPC A arms Ill be ordering soon so I'm just going to reuse my energy suspension pieces for the rest of the summer. ![]()
