[QUOTE=GREATGTO;4982534]Gaby said he did, I read it on py so you need to talk to Gaby about that. It was all over pz if you don't remember? I think the posts are even saved somewhere for future reference if needed.

The fact of the matter is it was a Cylinder, sliced off a casting of a tiger head to relocate the intake guide. install a seat and machine a valve job into it. How you blew it up into a "set" of heads is amazing! Like I said... A blatant and outright lie! From they guy who claims that he never lies! Unbelievable!

I would be Willing to bet Darin does very little port work and has done very little for years..Do you think Keith Wilson ports intakes or has guys in house doing the work for him? And no, just because someone does lots of heads, that doesn't make them the best! May I refer you to KRE... Its like NASCAR drivers, you have to be in the right place and well marketed to get a ride in one...there are guys that race at local circle tracks that are much better drivers but werent in the right place or didn't have the money backing them to get in a cup car... same with engine guys. Darins heads do great on pro stock cars ( mostly) but I'm also guessing it was some level of luck and timing to get to the level he is.. I also bet there are no named builders that could do as well or better but we will never know..

Well from the people I know who have been to RM, Darin still ports heads, and is usually busy porting heads when he is called on the phone, but I do not know the amount of heads he ports obviously, you could call and ask if you really need to know.

Most companies make a Showcase item to show what is possible. 99% of their customers will never need or buy that level of work, but the bar has to be set somewhere.

Gaby and BES have done as much to put Pontiac back on the racing map as anyone out there.

The average person doesn't know who Curtis Boggs is, but those that do are very happy. Same goes for Gaby.

I just asked my neighbors brother in law if he ever heard of GREATGTO, he hadn't. But what does that prove?

There I fixed it for you. If you ask the average Chevy person almost all will know who Curtis is.

I would say not true to that. Based on my experience with a few chevy friends.

just like the pontiac guys most are not that enlightened on the specialty stuff. Say AFR DART BRODIX their ears perk up.

I've had a few people years ago (when i used LSM) try to convince me that their buddies machinist at the auto parts was better than LSM..."whoever that is". They had no clue what LSM did or their reputation. Funny thing is they were within 6 miles of the shop while having the conversation.

I took a picture of the CV-1 Crowd is getting out of town, as usual, when the Norwalk Race dates come around and the E-Head, Tiger Head, Pro Port Head, and High Port Head start looking for them to race.
DaftGTO is the guy on the ground on the left. He can't get a ride (even to get out of town).
