column numbers
I have a 1969 Custom"S" that I recently removed the steering column. It is original to the car and has these numbers on column and the electrical switch housing. The car was built in Freemont, Cal., and was wondering if anybody can decode these numbers?

On the ignition switch 9B19 is the assembly date of the ign switch. Feb 9th of 1969. Not sure on the other number, I'd need to look at several others knowing what they came off of. Being a green plastic non tilt ign switch, the column is a direct bolt in for '69 & 70 Pontiac A-bodys & '69 & 70 GP's.
On the part # blue sticker, the two letter code, PD, ID's the column & it should match the two letter ID code on the cars buildsheet. For many years of Pontiac A-bodies, there are assembly manuals available & in it, the two letter code will be listed next to the steering column part number.
