Bought me a set today too! Along with a "Super Victor" efi intake while they are still cheap. Might grow into it down the road!

Thanks for the links fellas!
Fuel rail prices are on the rise again! I just ordered a Super Victor with the 4150 flange and two sets of fuel rails.

My thoughts on the low Edelbrock prices for Pontiac parts.
GM no longer builds Pontiac. Edelbrock is selling off all Pontiac inventory and stop producing Pontiac parts,

Nah, if that were the case, they would have never came out with the D port heads. They need to sell a bunch more of those to get there ROI. Would make no sense to not make intakes for them.

A better guess would be they're coming out with a new line of EFi intakes and rails. Or at least an improved design.

We spoke with Edelbrock at the Spring Autofair in Charlotte and asked about the D-port heads. They told us the heads had been very well received and were selling good. I don't think they are getting out of the Pontiac game now, which may be as big or bigger than it has ever been. Or at least I hope they aren't.

They saw me coming,LOL.

Happens to me all the time, never really get used to it,what's the saying?

If it was'nt for bad luck,,,I'd have no luck @ all...

JK

All I can do is assume they fluctuate both ways and take a "wait & see" approach.

I was ready when the $30.00 price came up a good while back and got a couple of sets for intakes I have. Bought two more cheap intakes recently so will watch to see if I can buy 2 more sets cheap ($30.00) lol! Still you could not have blank rails/stands purchased/ machined for less than $400.00 so $100.00 is still a good price.

Tom Vaught

ps I have some unmachined Fuel Rails (Extruded Aluminum with a .900" flow channel vs the .600" flow channel size on a E-head Rail.)
Would be some work and not cheap but would let the BIG DOGS HUNT!

I agree,$100.00 bucks or so is'nt a rediculous amount for a set of these.

Still not 100% sure I'd even opt to go that route myself, just feel it's a good idea to have a set onhand seeing that the intake has the capability to go EFI,you know, say if I had to sell it or something like that.

Anyhow,I got plenty of time,I can wait & watch.

Money, that's just a bit harder for me to come by,LOL.

Thirty dollars is a steal.
Eighty-five is still fair, and I believe there's an ebayer selling for that.
Raw lengths of extruded rail are about $20 per side on ebay. Arizona Speed and Marine is where I've bought it in the past.

I think some of the cheap ones had an incorrect number stamped on them or the box.
