Hi, I'm interested in the engine. My dad is building a '67 LeMans rag with a OH6 and he'd like to dress the car up as a Sprint so the intake and exhaust will be handy.

What does the YC code indicate and what are the correct engine codes for '67, '68 and '69 OH6 engines?

Did it run ok with the 4bbl on it? I wonder if the sprint version of the engine had larger valves or different cam?

I will be at the TA Nat's and can pick up the engine there.

Do you know what carb is supposed to go with the engine? I'll be needing the carb and air cleaner too if you know anyone that has one. Maybe I'll post in the wanted section too.

Thank you and look forward to meeting you at the Nats.

Greg

greg, the ZC code indicates a 1bbl engine. I have no knowledge of when it was last in a running car. it has the 4bbl intake and dual exhaust but as far as the heads I don't know what the differences might be. their are some guys on the ohc tech line that could answer some questions for you. it is being sold as a good rebuildable core. it turns over ok. as of right now I have not secured a swap meet space. waiting to see if I can get fri and sat off. but delivery still could be a possibility. thks nick
