I just put a set of KYB's on my car and they ride like a pogo stick. When I got the car they were on the front, a worn out set of Monroes on the back. put a set of KYB's on the back , big mistake. What are you guys running?

Bilsteins. On the 78 for 25 years, some going on the 81 as it gets freshened.

For a street/road car or for a track car?
All of my road cars have bilsteins, even my old diesel truck. Great shocks. Track cars need double adjustable shocks. |

i'm a big fan of Tokico's myself
although some complain they are to firm/stiff i've used various shocks in the past including the sears specials that had lifetime replacements none seem to last anywhere near as long as the Tokicos i dont recall the last place i bought them from, maybe shox.com |

Are the KYB`s the Gas a Just one`s?? What did you dislike about them? Too hard of ride, no give over bumps, noise,Etc.??? |

They are the silver gas adjust, I think they only make one shock for our cars but I could be wrong. What I do not like is the compression dampening is too hard, rebound is too soft so they fell like a Pogo Stick.

I agree with the Bilsteins. Even though I have Monroe on my 78 T/A, I put a set of Bilsteins on my wifes 89 BMW 535i, what difference. I know speaking German here is un heard of, but hate to say it, that car gave mine a run for it's money!!

Bilstein's here as well. I had replacement gas shocks all around and at around 70 80 MPH on slight dips in the road the front end would kinda float. Put on Bilstein's and all that is gone now. Definitely firmed up the ride.
