If you don't mind the change use the firewall mount off a 61 Pontiac. So much simpler (and better appearance IMO) than the 62/3 setup. I really like 61 part on my 62.

The tranny is a Super Roto Hydra-matic
I have a '61 w/throttle linkage that IS MUCH simpler, but would like to stay with the original on the '62, since it is different from the regular Hydra-Matic.

You mentioned it's different so I'm probably no help, especially with a Tri-power, but here's a 62 Roto GP with 3x2.

Thanx-That is helpful-was puzzled on the tranny rod trunnion jackshaft mounting. (Meaning I took it apart without pictures, and couldn't determine which way the jackshaft went back!!!!!!!! LOL)
