OK, so my car is getting ever closer to the point of being on the road. I am having trouble with interference of the old crappy Moroso tall valve covers I had for the race car to the heater-A/C box on the right side. I had tall covers because I ran a stud girdle, and planned to use it again just because I have it. The valve cover on the RS won't fit, even with NO gasket.
What are you all using for valve covers? I guess I can get rid of the girdle, as this motor will see only street duty with an occasional trip down the track. Do Mickey Thompson covers fit? I always liked them. Thanks in advance!

I have seen cast aluminum spacers under stock covers for guys running taller-than-stock valvetrains.
IIRC they are about 1.5" tall. Check with PY too, but I think Indian Adventures makes (?) and sells them.

2 sets for sale in the Performance Parts below right now. You can measure and ask questions, I'm sure the seller would help out.
Good luck, Greg |

The rear outboard corner interferes with the heater/AC blower housing.
