A few more road test pics...
If you have a buddy into Oldsmobiles, this is a good screensaver for them! Notice the use of a rear sway bar, something Oldsmobile championed early on, while Pontiac (and DeLorean) rejected the idea.

What's really funny about the Olds pic is the driver. He appears to be a middle aged businessman on his way to the office.....and I guess in a way, he is.

Does the body stripe on this car indicate the Sprint Option? Notice Rally I and Power Antenna options also.

I think Jeff Hamlin would have answer that one.

Only available in Black, Red or White, You could also order it STRIPE DELETE. I have had seen one true '66 Sprint with PHS indicating Stripe Delete it was a convertible I bought many years ago. Image from the 1966 PERFORMANCE BROCHURE; Note the body colored Rally Rims. Looks to be Fontaine Blue.

The first 67 Camaro I ever laid eyes on was at a dirt track (Langley Va.) and Joie Chitwood came around turn four on two wheels in it. It was white too. I suppose Chevrolet was getting cars to him for practice shortly before the public was buying them. |

The Spring pic looks like it was taken at the GM Milford Proving Ground. Also - note the beauty of the rear quarter window: you can run your wiring through the window but leave the rest of them up so you don't get wet while testing. ![]() K

The caption in this picture really cracked me up!
"Don't let Janet, Deb, Jan, and Mary fool you. Stan has experienced men working for him. The girls just greet customers at Stan's Mobil."

That's some hefty generator on the front fork....I guess he needed it for all the 'optional accessories' he's running. '55 Chevies, etc. on the street in original paint....We'll never see the likes of that again. Great pic...
