Default 1969 Trans AM Convertible Ram Air IV tribute must see

Well if it was 1 of the 8, I'd be writing this from my Yacht in the islands.

What it is, is one of the most outstanding and beautiful NOS builds you will find. I think the car is worth an unbelievable amount in parts alone. Heck the horn button is probably worth $1000. All the body panels, hood, fenders, etc were NOS OEM parts. The Engine is a true 1970 carb to pan all matching RAM Air IV engine. I could go on but you get the idea. Probably as close to having one as you can have. It was built in 1978 and kept in showrooms. Very low miles after build. does have some hard to see paint checking on the lacquer paint.

It comes with a very authentic looking fake window sticker, trim plate, etc that would stump most anyone.

LOTS PICS HERE AND MORE TO FOLLOW IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS

Give me a call if you're interested 9045345189

$80k

WOW.

Was the horn button exclusive to the 69 T/A?

Default T/A conv. ra4

Unfortunately, Pontiac did not build any ra4 t/a conv. So what you have is 1 of 0. With that said, you still have a real nice car.

I think......in the "grand scheme of things"...all 8 of the 69 T/A converts were errors or mistakes....

I'd bet that if upper management at that time realized that there WAS an option left open to build one as a convert, they would have NOT allowed it...

Our favorite car was named after a race...that featured SEDANS....

How many 69 Z28 drop tops did they make? Boss 302's?

No disrespect to ANY of the 8 T/A converts...but once you loose the hardtop roof & stripes....they LOOSE their racecar image/appeal....JMO....

Thanks

It is true no RAM IV's but you'd need to know that because the rest of the car will definitely stump you.

Who built the engine? Any details on the internals? Original PHS?

We didn't perform the resto or engine build. It was built back with quality rings, bearings etc. It starts up and runs great no burn or leaks. We do have the original PHS.
