Default Can intake gaskets be reused...

if the intake crossover leaked on them?Had trouble with the crossover leaking and had to use use a different intake.I am trying it but I wanted to ask.Thanks!

Maybe with rtv, but I've never had good luck getting them off without damage that I wouldn't chance.

Yes, but why? A set of Fel-Pro intake gaskets is less than $15.

Back in the day when we changed intakes at the drag strip to check performance, we reused inake gaskets, but the gaskets were never stuck to the intake or heads so there was no damage.

If it hasn't been on long, you can get away with it provided nothing is stuck or rips when it comes off. But then considering you'll get to do it over again if it leaks, why not just do it right the first time?

I did buy a new set of intake gaskets and filled with anti freeze to test for leaks.I was using a cut off crossover that didn't have a completely flat surface on one side.
So that side have gotten wet a few times.Would that keep it from sealing?
I'm going to find out.If it still leaks I will get a new set
