That interior actually subtracts from the value. If that money had been spent on the body and a stock interior, that could be a real nice car.

The guy has an interesting web site. All 'big' cars and convertibles. Click on 'All Cars. There's dozens of them. Kind of a convertible salvage yard.... www.chevyimpalas.com

I think the 6 would have been a lot cooler in that Monte Carlo in the back. I just can't wrap my head around pulling a V8 for a V6...

He doesn't have a 'Hemi" price on it though. He must know it's not really a hemi.

Ok, it's '3-1/2 hours south' and 'not far'....but from where?
Could possibly be a nice car though.

If I lived in their area, I'd volunteer to sleep in their place any time they had to leave. It sounds like someone is watching their place and knows when they're gone. If so, that would be a perfect scenario for a setup.

Car is listed in San Antonio area, so he's probably down in the Brownsville\McAllen\Harlingen area or one of the numerous small towns in that valley. It's not exactly "not far" either as there aren't any nice high speed freeways into the area once you're 50 miles south of San Antonio and you'll be dealing with quite a few small towns along the way. Not to mention a gringo in that area stands out...
