Woke up this mourning to -13 with 24 mph wind gust's. Good thing for the block heater in the car cause it turned over like it was a 70 degree day. Today's forecast we are gonna peak out at -17 before it warms up to -10 before falling back down to -20 over nite. Damn that's cold.

57 when I got up this morning at 7am, with pouring rain. Now it's it's a cloudy 39 with occasional snow flurries. By tomorrow morning it's supposed to be 5 degrees with a high of 11. So much for your Global Warming Al Gore.

This morning the wife asked me what the temperature was outside.
I looked at the outside thermometer that read zero degrees and responded:

"There isn't any"

For the first time in 5 years my Dodge Cummins failed me.
Had it plugged in and it started, but the fuel must be gelled.
It has no power, threw a check engine light, turned around and barely made it back to to house at 15 mph.
What kind of additive should I put in the tank? Thats what I need right?

There are various De-gell additives that you can use. Can pick up a can at any Auto Parts store or places like wall Mart. Some are more condensed than others.

I like reading this thread because I don't feel so cold afterwards [here in Florida]. Dipping into the 30s tonight but back into high 70s by the weekend.
I don't know how you northerners handle the cold and snow.
