Why don't you call Jim Mattison and ask if anyone's run the car through PHS?

65 pontiac Catalina - $4000 (Winner Sd)
1965 65 pontiac Catalina odometer: 89000 automatic transmission
I have a 65 Pontiac Catalina two door hard top for sale. Lots of extra parts.
Paint is peeling on the hood and passenger side.
Trans missions is out. Lost the keys and title.
motor only has 89,000 miles on it.
It has its side skirts still.
Motor ran great when i parked it in two 2008.
I'm Selling it because i joined the United States Navy and don't want it to rot.
It was the first car i ever bought and only going to sell it to a serious person that is planing on fixing it up.
Ask for pics.

Here you go - 1971 Lemans Wagon with painted bumpers and formula hood scoops. Also as an added bonus a fuel cell to provide 10 extra gallons of fuel for those long trips in this beauty.

I offered a $1000 for this rusty, not running kick ass old car. Told him he could keep the girl. He said no.

Chafing from vibration could be a problem.

Not sure what is being used to secure the cell. Pallet banding?

I've seen a lot of cars that would "haul ass", but not THAT much.

extra 10 gallon fuel cell in the rear storage area

Does that mean the tank leaks? The storage area looks a little shaky, I would not hook any thing to the trailer hitch either.

When you texted him about the car did he say he was selling the car or the girl. The rust on the hood is probably from the oinker thats sitting on the hood. I don't know if he's selling the car or the pig in the polk, or switch that backwards. I always knew the metal in the older cars were thicker, you can tell just by how it's not collapsing under the weight of the big girl on the hood. 2 more , just shows big girls need big cars. Last one , only way I can get any sun is to come out to the junk yard to get some sun without some one throwing a fish net over me thinking I'm a beached whale. But as far as the wagon if someone hits that in the rear it's going to be a Pinto, that fuel line is the first to go. The trunk floor is the next to go because all the rust there is about to let the fuel cell go.

After I looked closer at this pic, I can see the crimped bands on the underside of the storage well.
They actually strapped the fuel cell to that moth eaten sheet metal.

I think the real question is, was that rust on the hood before she sat on it?
