Honestly, I do not think you are that far from where you want to be. Some issues are tricky, sure. But this plagues even the experienced from time to time. What often helps for me if I get burned out is to walk away for a few days or even a week.
The hassle of selling a car and dealing with the general public trying to lowball your ride will make working on the car seem fun again.
